Y dd u choose Hip-hop?

Well actually hip-hop chose me because, I always wanted to be a soccer player growing up,i used to dance when I was young listening to any music when its been played at home even got inspired by Usher's 1st Live concert, but things changed when I entered High School 2006, i had a classmate who was into hip-hop (south African hip-hop) so this guy encouraged me to write and rhyme and when I started i couldn't stop then started listening to Sean G,DC CREW, L.U.S back then in 2006, it has now grown my personality expressing myself for the rest of my life in the booth.

Describe yo style?

Well now i can't actually say i'm totally different from other rappers doing good music 'cuase the life is not the same we are born with different purposes, the talent is the same but we flow in different verses,i'm actually mixing this kasi style with sweag so that I can attract different types of people 'i Call it the "kasi bhenga" style haaha'! I'm just using my personality on my music, if feel like dancing i'll do a dance song, if i feel inspired i'll do an inspiring song, if i feel angry i'll do a motivational song but "My own way"

What is yo view on the Hiphop scene currectly in Mzansi?

Well I think hip-hop in South Africa has grown on the streets and clubs, yeaaaah people are listening to hip-hop like they are listening to house music...but I don't see us dominating Africa or around the world because we still haven't invented our own style as yet.Plus I find it hard to dominate totally because we got 9 languages in the same country!

Most rappers like to work with rappers on another level of fame or if they in the same level,sharing the same spot light,well I actually want to work with people from other genres, like Dj KayBee,Oskido,Zahara,The Soil,Berita,Tellaman,Ringo Madlingozi,Blacklez,Dj Culoe De song and Black Coffee

What is the inspiration behind 'Dumizulu'?

I remember watching MTV rock n roll programme and then thought to myself since i'm an underground rapper and most underground rappers like hardcore music beats so i created my own beat (beat-box)made a voice clip then sent it to Nexo with an illustration of this unique sound also giving him the title which is 'Dumizulu', its the combination of rock n roll, kasi rap style with a little bit of my 'kasi Bhenga sweag' in it!Also, this song represents me changing from "Mxolsi Mario Mbhele" into "Mizzy" as Nexo personifies "His on Fire" which is Me Mizzy into life!!!!
